Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OurBaby (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the OurBaby mobile application (the “Service”). You upload photos of faces to use the Service, so we hold ourselves to a high standard in handling them.

1. Information We Collect

• Photos you upload: the parent photos you choose, used solely to generate your baby images.
• Generated images: the baby, family, and age-progression images the Service creates for you.
• Account information: an anonymous identifier, and your email address if you sign in with email or Apple.
• Preferences: choices you make in the app, such as gender selection or quiz answers, stored to personalize your experience.
• Purchase status: whether you have an active subscription (processed by Apple and our payments partner RevenueCat; we never see your payment details).
• Technical data: limited logs and device information used to operate and secure the Service, and push tokens if you enable notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your baby images: your photos are sent over an encrypted connection to our servers and passed to an AI image-generation provider for processing.
• To keep your history available across your devices.
• To operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, and provide support.
• To send notifications you asked for (like “your baby is ready”), if you opt in.

We do not sell your data, share your photos with advertisers, or use your photos to train public AI models.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Photos and generated images are stored in secure cloud object storage; account data lives in our database. Our AI provider processes images transiently to generate results. All transfers are encrypted in transit.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your photos and generations are kept so your history works, until you delete them. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account) permanently removes your photos, all generated images, and your account data. This is immediate and irreversible.

5. Children

The Service is for adults. Don't upload photos of children, and don't use the Service if you are under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Generated baby images are synthetic and do not depict real children.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your data. The fastest path for erasure is in-app account deletion; for anything else, email us.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app.
